So it's been a while since I've posted on my personal blog. To be honest, I mostly just use tumblr to post about my otome gaming since I have a lot of people to talk about it over there, and it makes communication with other otome fans easier. However, I do want to use my actual personal blog because it's here and unused so yeah. Anyway, I've posted about many other otome games over there, but I'll try to make some review posts on those in the future and post them here.

First, I want to talk about the current state of otome games. It's almost the end of 2015 and I feel like we are getting SO MANY more otome games nowadays. I've been playing them since Yo-Jin-Bo got released in English ages ago. That was almost 10 years ago! Time flies! Back then, we had about two otome games out, I think. Animamundi and Yo-Jin-Bo and Animamundi doesn't even count because it was originally a BL game and got the BL stuff taken out in English. What a mess! Nowadays, we don't have as much censorship in those matters, thankfully! The BL game scene doesn't have as much out, but there's still some gems out there. Anyway, enough about that. I want to talk about the otome game I'm currently playing. It's called Princess Battles and it had been on my wishlist for a while. I was actually waiting for it to go on steam, but things happened, and I finally bought it on steam today. It's currently on sale for $11.89.

Princess Battles tells the story of princess Lillian (changeable). There's a girl named Olivia in the kingdom that might take the throne from her since Lillian hasn't been a proper princess so far in her life, so she decides to enter a Prima card tournament to defeat Olivia and make sure to win the throne.

I haven't gotten all endings yet, but I went through the single path and got both single good endings by defeating Olivia. This is a very short game. I want to point that out because it only took me about 2 hours to get through the game and I took my time with it and left the game idle for a while too. I'm glad I got it on sale. Anyway, I've only gotten one bachelor ending and it was lovely, but there was not much to it.

*SPOILER*

It was Ignatius' ending and I had to finish the game while single and then unlock free play mode, and click Trade Cards until I got him. There was barely any communication with him so the whole thing felt very empty and unfulfilling. It was ok, but I wish they gave him more lines in the actual game!! There was not much interaction and I have a feeling it might go the same with the other bachelors in-game too. The only one I talked to a lot was Lucian...

Anyway, these are my thoughts on the game for now. I want to keep track of my thoughts on here since I plan on revieweing the game on steam when I get 100% completion.
