Hi everyone! It's been ages since I've posted on this blog, but I thought I'd share my review on this BB cushion. I've actually been really into Korean makeup and skincare lately, so I've been sharing my thoughts in the K-beauty amino app. I thought I'd post my review here for those who are not a part of that community.

Before I start, here's some info on my skin:
  • Combo to Oily
  • Medium Warm skin somewhere around NC30 to NC35 (I've never been matched at MAC so it's not 100% certain)
  • Korean Shade 23

Super cute packaging! No denying that.

This is what the applicator puff looks like.

The actual cushion, so gray!

So I've been wearing this cushion for over a month now. I don't use it every day though because to be honest, I really don't like it. The first thing I noticed when I got it was how gray it looked. A lot of Korean cushions have this weird gray undertone that is supposedly brightening. My Etude House cushion was the same. I just think it makes me look dead, to be honest. I'm not a big fan of it, so I try my best to find swatches of these products before I purchase them but I got this particular cushion when it was just released so I didn't have that option. The shade does oxidize but I still don't like it on me. Not a big fan of gray undertones.

Gudetama on top, Missha M Magic Cushion on bottom, both Shade 23

Another thing I didn't like about the cushion was the wear time. This cushion is very dewy and it rubs off easily. It only lasts around 4 hours on my combo skin, which is not even that oily. Actually, my skin is pretty dry right now! Anyway, the cushion makes my skin look like a greasy mess if I don't prime it and set it with powder. It is a must with this one! It fades away on my nose incredibly quickly.

Overall, I can't really recommend this cushion for combo to oily skin. It's not long lasting, it's very dewy and it transfers easily. There are better cushions out there at a more affordable price, like the Missha M Magic Cushion which I absolutely love and highly recommend! That one doesn't even require a primer. This one's definitely not for me and I hate the fact that it came with a refill. I really don't like it!
